They are demanding, but welcoming. The owner does a lot of community service and expects students to not only learn skills but also to be leaders and exercise discipline in other parts of their lives.

The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and work very well with kids and adults of all ages. Our kids have not only gained confidence but now work together as a team when cleaning up at home thanks to the obstacle course activities. I love how the instructors enforce the importance of treating others with respect and living life with passion. Happy to have joined the adult classes to better myself as well!! Thanks WI-MAFC!!

This center is great because they actively work with families, encourage children and adults in all areas of their lives to be the best they can be. They have an anti bullying program to help students know what to do if they are bullied. They also have after school programs at several local schools. The hey have multiple levels that met the needs of students from white belt to black belt. They teach honesty, honor, respect, loyalty to one’s country, and parents, responsibility, courage, humanity, courtesy, and trust. The students will learn different martial arts forms and techniques, various self defense techniques, grappling, and weapons forms.

I love training at this facility because I get to experience mental and physical power I don’t experience anywhere else, while getting a great workout at the same time!

We are so thankful that we found the Wisconsin Martial Arts and Fitness Center! The lessons, friendships, discipline, and focus on health and fitness has such a positive impact on our family. The instructors are so talented and dedicated to each and every student. Head Instructor Buss is a true treasure. If you can’t tell, I highly recommend this location!

My child is in the kids’ Jiu-Jitsu program and I highly recommend this martial arts center. Instructor Billie and his student helper are excellent. He is fantastic with kids of all ages, super positive and does a great job teaching Jiu-Jitsu techniques and pairing it with fitness games. I am continually impressed with how he weaves in the life lessons and character development in a natural way.

When you train here you become part of a family. They have something to offer all age groups. My son, daughter, and husband all train here. The focus is on respect. Respecting your body, respecting others, and respecting the environment around you.
If you are looking for a program that offers comprehensive training, camaraderie and integrity you need not look any further.

Knowledge, practicality, humility, affordability! It seems those attributes are hard to find in a martial arts facility/program/instructor, but that is what I have found here. Instructor Buss is fantastic. He weaves in larger life lessons to the program, allowing one to follow a spiritual path should they choose. I am really happy to be getting as much cardio and strength training in the lessons as I am, but it is still a situation where you are only asked to do what is physically within your comfort zone. I couldn’t be more pleased to have this place and these people enriching my life.
WI MAFC is a great training facility. The art is very well rounded. Training includes stand up and ground fighting. A lot of martial arts are one or the other. Techniques are applied not just run in the air. The owner is very active in the community the message he teaches to his young students inspires them to be a good and confident people. The center also offers boot camp workouts as well as kickboxing classes. I would definitely recommend training here.
My son has been studying with Master Buss and the many other fine instructors here for 5 years. It is a wonderful school. They are fun and friendly, but hold everyone to a code of ethics and behavior that is a great example for kids. Having studied both Tae Kwon Do and KungFu in the past I am impressed with how broad and complete the WI-MAFC training is. I would definitely recommend checking them out.
